Sept. 26, 2022 | Drivers and monitors at Durham School Services in Baltimore have voted overwhelmingly to ratify their first collective bargaining agreement with Teamsters Local 570. Canteen Compass Contract Unanimously Ratified

On September 23rd Teamsters Local 89 members at Canteen Compass unanimously ratified a new three-year agreement. Economic highlights of the new agreement include improved commission rates, faster vacation accrual, two additional paid holidays, a higher shift premium, improved holiday pay, higher hourly rates and improved pay on Saturdays and Sundays.

Tuesday, September 20, 2022 - AT&T has declared a surplus of  four employees represented by the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local Union 21 (IBEW 21).  While this is a very small surplus there is a potential that there will be limited opportunities for Voluntary Separation Packages (VSIPP) available to eligible employees who are not affected by the surplus. If you would like to save the job of someone whose job is at risk, your VSIPP application must be electronically submitted by 5 p.m. (CST) on Wednesday, September 21, 2022.
